Greta von Unruh

 

Great von UnruhGreta von Unruh has been working in human, community and economic development for over 15 years. She has helped launch numerous neighborhood organizing initiatives, public/private partnerships, communication systems and technologies, actionable research initiatives and training programs in an effort to help individuals and communities deepen democracy, overcome challenges and build wealth. As the current Executive Director of the Economic Development Research Institute Greta produces economic reports on the local economy, hosts a roundtable of nationally renowned economists and offers a variety of online research products and services to grant writers, investors and policymakers.  Ms. von Unruh also has expertise in designing, implementing and integrating new technologies into marketing/public relations plans and public policy advocacy campaigns.  A third generation Floridian with her masters in Social Work, Greta has developed and administered programs for the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The Collins Center for Public Policy, the Palm Beach County Planning Division, and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.
